Interior – two spacious cabins and one large head featuring an electric flush system and a separate shower stall. A roomy full sized berth aft with a sitting area and large elevated berth forward with vanity. The salon table converts to make another berth on the port side and the starboard side has a cocktail table that drops down to make a full length settee. Heat and AirCon at the dock make this boat comfortable all season long and plenty of cold storage with separate fridge and freezer means that extended cruising isn’t a problem.
Cockpit – Great electronics package including a touchscreen chartplotter, wind, boat speed, depth and even autopilot. Huge storage locker to starboard and a deep lazarette to port. Plenty of seating and a center-line table with two drop leafs means that there is room to dine on deck. Theymiscyra is equipped with a bimini and dodger to keep you out of the sun and a Bose sound system for your vacation soundtrack
Rig – Traditional sloop rig with split backstays. Roller furling mainsail and headsail make for easy control of your sail plan and safe reefing underway. the 135 genoa with adjustable tracks gives you plenty of control over your sail shape. The Catalina 5-series is known for their powerful, well-balanced sail plan.
On Deck – Lots of ventilation at anchor with 4 forward facing hatches. Wide side-decks make it easy to get to the expansive foredeck and power up/down windlass means anchoring is a snap!
The latest in the line of new Catalinas that evolved from successful design features and proportions of previous models, the 385’s moderate beam is carried well aft for a spacious cockpit; modest freeboard reduces windage and a beautiful hand-finished teak interior brings it all home with classic warmth and styling that has been a trademark of Catalina for 41 years.
