Yacht Sales & Charter Management Program

For over 30 years...

The Great Lakes Sailing Co. has been offering easy, affordable yacht ownership in Michigan.  We are a full service marine facility and offer support long after the sale on Marlow Hunter, Gemini Catamarans and Jeanneau sailboats.  We're also a certified ASA training center with customized sailing instruction, yacht deliveries, docking and harbor handling training and more.  Our staff of over 13 friendly, professional, USCG licensed Captains have traveled throughout the Great Lakes to assist sailors.

Sales & Service

When you talk with Dave, Doug or Paul about a new yacht, you're talking with USCG licensed Captains who have sailed the yachts they sell in every weather condition and are certified in ABYC standards.  Feel free to call or email us about any of the brands we sell.  You'll get the straight talk from the guys that have years of experience in not just sales but in marine electrical systems, diesels, electronics, rigging, outfitting and more.  We'll help you find the perfect boat for your needs and budget.

Great Lakes Region Gemini Catamarans Dealer

Gemini Catamarans have been built in the United States since 1981.

Original Performance Cruising founder Tony Smith moved his entire family across a temperamental Atlantic Ocean to build a better boat and further introduce the United States, specifically the Chesapeake, to multihulls. Gemini Catamarans’ history spans more than three decades, taking the company through water, fire and more than one economic downturn. Not only has the company survived but thrived now dotting the world’s oceans, lakes and rivers with over 1,200 Gemini catamarans from the 3000 model to the Legacy 35 and now the Freestyle 37.
