This online course and exam is a pre-certification course that familiarizes the new sailor with the ASA 101terminology.
The curriculum is derived directly from the Sailing Made Easy textbook. Topics such as the “Parts of the Boat”, the “Points of Sail” and “Rigging the Boat” are all included in this course.
It is recommended that a students complete this course prior to arrival for the in-person class at GLSC.
