"Cricket", the Sabreline 36' Express MKII, is an exceptional yacht uniquely suited to the Pure Michigan lifestyle offering the ideal venue for hours of fun and relaxation while exploring the treasures of Lake Michigan.
The deck of the Sabreline 36' Express MKII was made for relaxation and enjoyment on the water. Wide side decks allow the transition from cockpit to fore deck in complete safety and security. Her flag blue hull is complemented by her contrasting beige non-skid decks. Cricket is powered by two reliable Yanmar diesels with a bow thruster for ease of docking.
Below deck the Sabreline 36' Express MKII is built in a traditional style using American Cherry with a hand rubbed varnish reminiscent of the yachts of bygone days, yet fresh, modern and efficient. Her teak and holly cabin sole, matching wood grains, louvered locker doors all blend beautifully in this warm and mellow environment – an example of the superb craftsmanship for which downeast Sabre is so well known. Ther perfect layout for two couples with a converting salon table and a private V-berth.
Her galley comes equipped with a stove top and microwave oven, an under counter fridge freezer, stainless steel sink and single lever faucet, Corian counter tops, making a very pleasant space in which to prepare meals along the way. Opposite the galley is a comfortable U-shaped settee with ultrasuede upholstrey, a space to enjoy a fine meal or to relax while resting at anchor. The master stateroom is forward with a v-berth and generous storage in the many drawers and lockers. A cedar lined hanging locker is yet one more detail that defines the quality of this yacht.
Forward and to port is the large head with hot & cold shower and Vacu Flush head. Access to this space is from either the main salon or the forward stateroom.
Amenities include air conditioning/reverse heat, Westerbeke generator, AM/FM/CD radio, outside hot & cold transom shower, shore water inlet, swim platform, exterior courtesy lights and a full complement of navigational electronics.
"Cricket" is a beautiful, classic Sabre 36 Express. Extremely well appointed interior with a v-berth and converting salon table makes this a perfect boat for two couples to take a Northern Michigan adventure or the small family to get the kids unplugged and out on the water. Generator with heat and air conditioning and full enclosure for the cockpit means that this yacht will be quiet and comfortable at anchor in the early and late season too.Twin diesel engines and bow thruster extend the range of "Cricket" and allow for easy handling when in a tight marina.
