From the very first glance, the Sun Odyssey 349 captivates with her pure lines, generous interior volume and inviting cockpit. Designed by Marc Lombard and true to the values of the Sun Odyssey line, the 349 is the perfect combination of performance, comfort and safety at sea. Whether in the cockpit or at the helm, at anchorage or at sea, you will enjoy taking full advantage of this seaworthy, stable and easy-to-handle sailboat.
The interior is open and airy with ample headroom, light woods and colors and large windows and hatches. The galley includes a stove, oven and microwave. The head is to port and has a separate shower stall.
Venteux is a breeze to sail with all lines led aft to the helm and winches that are within easy reach of the helm. The mainsheet is double ended so that is can be controlled from either helm station. The twin rudder configuration results in very little weather-helm and twin steering wheels allow easy access to the dock or swim platform.
We are not only excited to offer Venteux for charter, we are all very excited to sail this boat. Jeanneau is known for producing fun, exciting performance cruisers and the 349 is no exception. You won’t find a dual helm system on any other production boat in this size range which allows the helmsman to stay on the high side for weight distribution or the low side to see under the head sail in traffic. This boat is rigged simply to allow for short hand sailing which makes this boat a great choice for the couple or family that is looking for a spirited vacation.
2 cabin/1 head layout leaves plenty of storage below deck for equipment and provisions. Double hung doors leading forward to the v-berth open to enlarge the living space and make this a very comfortable performance cruiser.
