“Perception” – Hunter 38

Interior

“Perception” is well equipped for cruising. The salon has 6’6” headroom and hatches have built-in screens & shades. The V-berth has an inner spring mattress and both rear cabins accommodate 2 people. Everybody gets a cabin and there’s no need to lower the salon table. All cabins have hanging lockers and storage shelves. The galley is equipped with a front loading fridge and separate freezer, Corian countertop, double basin sink, microwave, 2-burner stove w/oven and a dish dryer/storage rack for easy clean up. A 20” flatscreen TV with DVD/Bose stereo keeps the crew happy.

On-Deck

Perception has new genoa and furling mainsail. The new dodger/bimini has excellent visibility. The connector and dodger front window can be stored when desired.  Perception is also equipped with solar panels….battery charging with the engine is usually not required.   The chartplotter is helm mounted and integrated with the autohelm. Cockpit instruments are mounted above the companionway so everyone in the cockpit can be in on the fun. The cockpit and stern seats easily accommodate 7 adults. The cockpit table and steering wheel fold and the helm seat folds down for walk-thru access to the transom. The step transom with retractable ladder makes swimming fun and dinghy boarding easy and safe.
