“Perception” – Hunter 38

Perception is well equipped for comfortable cruising. The salon offers 6’6″ headroom, and the overhead hatches feature built in screens and shades for ventilation and privacy.

The forward V berth includes an innerspring mattress, and both aft cabins comfortably accommodate two adults. In addition, the salon settee can be used for additional sleeping space when needed. Each cabin is fitted with hanging lockers and storage shelves for extended stays aboard.

The galley is thoughtfully appointed with a front loading refrigerator and separate freezer, Corian countertops, double basin sink, microwave, and a two burner stove with oven. A convenient dish dryer and storage rack makes cleanup easy, creating a practical and comfortable space for meal preparation underway or at anchor.

On deck Perception features a new genoa and furling mainsail, delivering both performance and ease of handling. The new dodger and bimini provide excellent visibility, while the removable connector and dodger front window offer flexibility for open air sailing when desired.

Equipped with solar panels, Perception enjoys efficient battery charging, and engine charging is typically unnecessary. The helm mounted chartplotter is fully integrated with the autopilot for seamless navigation, and cockpit instruments are positioned above the companionway, allowing everyone in the cockpit to stay engaged.

The spacious cockpit and stern seating comfortably accommodate seven adults. The cockpit table and steering wheel fold away, and the helm seat folds down to create convenient walk through access to the transom. A step down transom with retractable swim ladder makes swimming enjoyable and provides easy, secure dinghy boarding.
